ICT

Through dedicated ICT sessions, we are providing our students with the skills necessary for using technologies to access, analyse, present and exchange information in a responsible and safe manner.  Because ICT has the ability to motivate and inspire learners, it is also utilised to enhance student learning across the curriculum.

Our ICT program primarily utilises:

  • Superclubs Plus
  • Kid Pix
  • Kahootz
Other curriculum areas are supported by:
  • Mathletics
  • The Premier's Reading Challenge
  • Encarta
  • A variety of software
Our students are timetabled to at least one session in the ICT Centre each week.  Our school also boasts a 'Mobile ICT Centre' which is made up of a class set of netbooks.  The students have access to this rescource for at least one session each week to enhance learning across the curriculum.  Each classroom has at least two computers which are utilised on a daily basis to support teaching and learning.
